So I've got all these Eldar models, and I've got the WD#127 Army List. Only it makes no real mention of the War Walkers and Dreadnoughts, both of which appeared in earlier issues.
Can I use them legally with the Aspect Warrior list? What was the intent there? The list itself references being able to play "all your existing Eldar models" along with the new ones, yet makes no direct reference to any other lists other than allowing you to add a Harlequin Troupe to your army if you like.
So this gets added to the list of House Rules.
Option A:
The only models allowed in an Aspect Warriors Eldar Army are those appearing in, or referenced in, White Dwarf #127.
Option B:
The points costs for War Walkers and Eldar Dreadnoughts are available and can be used with the list from WD #127.
I don't really see a problem with either option, especially given the fact that until 3rd Edition there weren't any other kinds of vehicles really available for Eldar.
Other issues are related to issues I have with equipping my Space Marines from my earlier posts. The random stat lines generated by both Farseers and Avatars could be problematic, so they should probably be addressed as well.
Option A: Each game the Farseer and the Avatar have their stats randomly generated.
Option B: Use the average die roll for each stat (rounding down) to create a "standard" stat line.
Here I feel Option B is better as it leads to neither an underpowered nor overpowered Avatar or Farseer. I would go with the average rolls for Psychic Points, too. I would leave the random number of Warrior Powers alone, though.
